Kick Wheel for Sale: $250 — Portland, OR: This is a wheel with history. Built by potter Paul Quyle (http://www.quylekilns.com/about_us) for his wife Joyce, it served the Quyle Kilns pottery with years of service, until I inherited it some years ago. Its a good, smooth, workhorse of a wheel. Not pretty, but sturdy and reliable. It served me well when I was throwing functional ware, and as my 2nd wheel, I used it as my trimming wheel. But I rarely throw these days, and I’m needing to make room in my studio for students, so I’m offering it for sale. This will be a great wheel for a potter on a budget! Interested parties should e-mail Cathi at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-255-3151.
